Dissociative Experiences and Creativity – Survey Questions

Tony Pedri, a student at University of Washington School of Medicine has submitted a report to PP+A outlining the experiments and surveys performed to compare the level of creativity/imagination of fine arts students based on their “dissociative experiences”.

Hypothesis:
Fine arts students who are characterized by high dissociative experiences scores should obtain higher scores on creative experience and creative imagination tests than Fine Arts students who are characterized by low dissociative experiences scores.

Conclusion:
Temporarily entering into a healthy dissociative state allows one to explore and test numerous alternatives to conscious task conductive to artistic endeavors.
